Package quality

Hi, nice to meet you;I've been a big fan of Linux since 2008. I'm happy 
that Linux together with its communities and partners has evolved a lot 
in these years.But, the reason for contacting you when I started using 
Flatpak I realized that their size has grown a lot and some packages 
after installed do not open or do not install. My question would be: 
isn't there a group responsible for curating the packages?Because I'm 
asking this question, because when I used the snap in ubuntu 21.10. I 
also felt a lot of problems from this crashes, not opening the package, 
not installing.

PS:. At the time of writing this letter I am on the Fedora 35 workstation.
