This is referring to the
'--components=biz.smartassociates.open.sdf,biz.smartassociates.open.sdf.desktop'
line, which limits the compose output to only those components. It
means that filters set, but compose didn't create any result at all -
we fail in this case, because a void output is usually not intended in
that case.

Can you check if your metainfo file was installed? Can you check the
directory where it was placed? It could be that the metainfo file
ended up in an odd place (it should have been something like
/app/share/metainfo/).
