[Fontconfig] Very peculiar problem with fontconfig

Dear developer of the fontconfig-Team,

I try to install latex-ttf-fonts-0.1-1  on my Linux SuSE8.2 System which needs 
fontconfig. fontconfig is installed in the directory /usr/X11R6/include, but 
rpm -iv does not find it. It always says that lates-ttf-fonts-0.1-1 needs 
fontconfig. I am really a bit disappointed an cannot understand why 
installing packages on Linux Systems is so VERY, very difficult.
