[Fontconfig] compiling Xft1

I'm trying to compile Xft1 for gnome 2.2 under Solaris 9. I'm using the 
gnu compiler, make, etc.

To create the Makefile, I use:

	imake  -DUseInstalled -DProjectRoot=/opt/gnome2.2.1 
-I/usr/openwin/lib/X11/config

But then I get the following error when I run make:

	Makefile:522: *** missing separator.  Stop.

Line 522 contains the following:

ProjectUnsharedLibReferences(FONTCONFIG,fontconfig,$(FONTCONFIGSRC),$(TOP)/usrlib)


If you have any idea how to solve this problem I'd appreciate the help.
