[Fontconfig] Fontconfig upgrade breaks Monotype on RH9 ?

Hi,

I just wanted to mention that upgrading the built-in Fontconfig 2.1-9
from RH9 seems to break the Monotype font severely.

The behavious is as follows:

fontconfig-2.1-9.i386.rpm:
=> OK (original from RH9)

fontconfig-2.2.0-1.i686.rpm
=> Regular/RegularItalic becomes Bold/BoldItalic !

fontconfig-2.2.92-1.i686.rpm
=> Regular/RegularItalic/Bold displayed with double(?) spacing
=> BoldItalic seems okay

This is not a critical problem for me, but I subscribed here to mention
it.

It seems the problem is in /etc/fonts but I haven't investigated yet.

I don't have customized font settings.
