[Fontconfig] Unzipping the tar file

Thanks Tim, that worked. 

 

All I got to say is WOW! I downloaded all the tarballs from their site
and unzipped each of them. None of the versions from 2.4.91 to 2.6.0
contained configure.

I had the same problem some weeks ago, then someone gave me this archive
which has the configure inside. Good luck!

I unzipped it with this command gtar xvfz fontconfig.tar.gz. Then I cd
to the new fontconfig dir. When I try to build it, I notice there is no
configure in the directory. From the INSTALL file, I am led to believe
that there should be a configure in there. 

 

I'm on a sparc-solaris2.8 machine.
