[Fontconfig] How to block glyph fallback in a QT application?

That's what I would like to have when the user selects a wrong font.

Usually this is just the case, by the main problem is caused by ligatures.
The historical texts used a lot of ligatures and it's quite confusing  
when they are split into separate characters.
