Well, upektc_img works for me, at least I was able to login with
fingerprint reader into gnome session.

There's nothing I can do with a driver, because image is processed on
the hardware, so I guess it's necessary to improve
NBIS code. In theory, it won't be too hard to remove minutiaes from
the scan perimeter, but I just don't have enough spare time to
implement
this improvement.
