[ghns] LWN Pointer

I just learned of "Get Hot New Stuff" from the article on lwn.net.   
Very interesting.  Unfortunately I don't use KDE so can't just  
integrate with the KNewStuff library.  I've been planning a similar  
system for my latest game project.  Now I'm stuck wondering if I  
should implement a subset or the entire GHNS system.
