Distribution/Version: system: 4.11 Stable / port: audio/gstreamer-plugins-artsd 0.8.10_1 from HEAD

Discovered trying to use gstreamer/artsdsink with amaroK.  Other applications
using artsd work fine.  Other applications using gstreamer/esdsink or osssink
work fine.

Simple way to recreate the problem:

% gst-launch sinesrc ! artsdsink

(process:21722): GStreamer-WARNING **: Name (null) is not unique in bin
pipeline0, not adding

RUNNING pipeline ...
Execution ended after 1 iterations (sum 38000 ns, average 38000 ns, min 38000
ns, max 38000 ns).
