Right, so all the tags are read properly both by GStreamer's id3demux and by
the 'id3v2' tool, correct?

Why do you think there is a problem with taglib?

To me the problem seems to be with the SanDisk player not being able to read
ID3v2.4 tags (maybe you need a firmware upgrade or so for the player?)
