Heh, how would I know when you're on vacation or not. I was just bumping this
because releases are coming up and someone mentioned it again. Also, you've
been commenting on other bugs in the last few days.

In any case, I think it's perfectly fine to only do scanning/introspecting when
a manual 'make update' is done in docs/plugins, don't know if all that .stamp
business is needed.
