OK, I really cannot reproduce any buffering issue in pull mode with
gst-play-1.0. Maybe there's something different with my setup that happens to
be random.

I think you should merge your two patches, because they are correct and should
cause no harm. If the moof_offset fix is already in, everything should at least
be fine for Firefox.
