The real memory requirement is the fragment size of the highest bitrate
variant. This will be a lot lower than 20MB in any practical application.

I'd like to see this in the stable branch, as without this change, hls (and I
presume the other adaptive demuxers) are simply un-usable on anything but a
fast and stable network connection.
