So, it turns out that the colour box is mandatory for JPEG 2000 jp2 images
(code stream plus file format), so if the source
is a motion jpeg 2000 file, or still jpeg 2000 files with jp2 file format, then 
a filter could determine the sampling field. If the source is j2k or jpc files
that contain the code stream only, and nothing else, then we won't be able to
determine the sampling.
