Forgot to add:

I opted for a rewrite instead of porting the audioparse code since baseparse
makes the rawparse class almost completely redundant and the rest would be a
mess. Also, this is an opportunity to introduce a more systematic naming
scheme. "rawaudioparse" is much clearer than "audioparse". It also means that a
future "rawvideoparse" could be introduced as well.
