The intrinsics are checked for already (and all the .c files have the code
surrounded by #ifdefs for corresponding HAVE_*_H).

I'll add some HAVE_SSE/HAVE_SSE2/... AM_CONDITIONALs around this tomorrow with
some configure.ac checks for the corresponding compiler flags.
