The docs/inspect/*xml files are autogenerated, they should not be edited
manually, and we shouldn't worry too much about noise/changes there. If there
are things that are not right, they will usually have to be fixed in the plugin
metadata. The package string changes between git and proper releases, it will
update automatically as well, not important if it matches, it will be updated
before a release.
