Hopefully not.  The idea is for them to be self-contained and
self-describing.  What does get installed is metadata stuff, in
/usr/include/gst/meta/*.h, which some plugins will include.  How that's
done I'm not sure, since several plugins could provide the same metadata
header.  I'd like to make metadata more plugable, but I don't see how
given that they're compile-time structures, unless we waste lots and lots
of processor cycles and make it entirely a list-based metathing.... ick.
