Hello Erik!
If you accept this patch or select "Save translatable strings" in glade "Options/LibGlade Options" menu,
then you make first step to localisation gstplay for 20-30 languages around the whole world =)
gstmediaplay.glade.h is file with translatable strings.

Next is "po" and "intl" dirs and some magic in configure.in.
It's not so simple, but it's The Gnome Way.
You always can ask translators for help on #i18n channel of GNOME irc.
