In preparing for the release, to update the status table as well as to get
people more acquainted with the admin thing, I propose that we wipe the statuses
of all the plugins. See gstreamer.net/status/ if you're confused. Also, the core
status elements look a little funny, and the whole thing needs to be regrouped
along the lines of whatever cvs module thing we decide.

Another point about the cvs thing: how important is it that we keep revision
histories? if it is not important, we can do the change ourselves and in pieces.
If it is important, we need to author a script that can be run by the sf staff
to redo the repository. Thoughts?
