OK, I'm about to sleep for a non-trivial amount of time, since I've now
been up for 21hrs straight so far.  After that I'll sync with what people
have done so far, and we can get going on the red-carpet stuff.  I sent
thomasvs a snapshot of stuff a few days ago, I'll rev those packages to
the latest versions and work on others.

More when I wake up...
