I don't care either way - I don't know who started with that policy, I 
imagine Erik did.  I just follow the nice release doc that helped me 
through a lot of painful releases.

I'd imagine Erik had a specific reason for including the codename, so 
hopefully he'll tell us why.  What I'm not going to do however is change 
behaviours without reason, because I happen to like consistency.  And, I 
don't really see how this ever affects anyone either ;)
