[gst-devel] Size of the Core Library

Hi,
According to the information on the Gstreamer website, the size of the core
library is about 150KB. What are the  libraries (minimum) I need to make the
Gstreamer works? If I compile the whole thing then I get libgstreamer.so
which is about 1MB. I also get libgstcontrol.so and I believe I need that
too. The --disable-debug option with the configure script did not work. It
still adds -g option. Since I want to use Gstreamer as the Media Streaming
Architecture for an embedded device, what are options I have to make it as
small as possible. I really loved the way  Gstreamer works. It makes things
very easy for the application developer. But question is how can I use it
when my device is small embedded device.
