if it groups, i have no idea how it does it. i'm with taaz on this one

i'm also with him in that i like the diffs. and i like that other folks
(that want them) get the diffs too. so it would be nice if that aspect
of the mailer were somehow preserved, probably by the creation of
another list.

my current objections are only the inclusion of new files in the mails
and the non-grouping. but that's not enough to make me want to change
it.
