there is, but it requires format-specific code to make it work, and I
didn't bother writing that so far since I can barely keep up with the
demuxer/decoder stuff.

You can enable it in gstffmpeg.c, gstffmpegmux.c will require some small
fixage in the link function or in gstffmpegcodecmap.c in the
caps-to-context function that you will have to figure out yourself.
