[gst-devel] gst-plugins on Mac OS X

Hi,

I want to use gstreamer under Mac OS X. I managed to compile the core  
library and the ffmpeg-plugin without much hassle, but I need the mplex  
module from the gst-plugins package. This package does not compile due to  
several messages from the linker which says that some symbols are multiple  
defined. They are defined in two different libraries. One static lib and  
one dynamic lib!?

So my first question to the mailing list is: Has someone managed to  
compile the gst-plugins package with mplex support on Mac OS X? I don't  
need anything else from the gst-plugins but the mplex module.

Please don't tell me that it is available via fink (fink.sf.net). The  
version provided by fink (0.6.x) is outdated.
