[gst-devel] compile problem

hi,

please check you $PKG_CONFIG_PATH. It has entries like
/opt/gnome2/lib/pkgconfig:/opt/gnome/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig
The location where the gstreamer .pc files are installed should be part of that
path.
