[gst-devel] gst-plugins prerelease + branch

Hi all,

a 0.8.1.2 prerelease of gst-plugins has been made and uploaded to
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/src/gst-plugins/pre/

A branch has been created as well, if you want to follow the release
branch then do
cvs update -r BRANCH-RELEASE-0_8_2

in your local copy.  Don't just commit stuff willy nilly however, the
point is to have a controlled path from now to the release.  If you just
want to hack, go to HEAD, or better yet, keep a local copy until after
the release.

I hope to do a final release on Tuesday if that's ok.

I'd also like this opportunity to welcome into our team Zaheer Merali
(back from the dead) and Steve Lhomme (robux4), who both asked for and
got commit access.  If I hadn't mentioned Owen Fraser-Green (also back
from the dead) getting commit access, consider it mentioned now as well.
