No, go ahead and remove it. It's simply there to make the patch
"upstream-capable".

Sure, I'll await emails. I'll be online this weekend.

I currently don't know exactly how it works, though (first view) it
seems it's just a quilt/cvs tree, which should be easy to manage. If I
need anything "weird", please let me know.
