The reason why nobody cares is probably because nobody needed it yet. Feel
free to implement it.

Another thing noone has done yet is make elements correctly handle >2
audio channels, though that should be just defining the caps correctly and
do some adaptions to the affected elements.
I'm not likely to do that wit only stereo sound here, though ;)
