Hello,
I`m currently looking into Video Whale as an alternative for a beamer.
If I want to make a Video Whale whole I have to make a project of it and
hand it over to some bosses :)
Making the whall takes 9 screens at the moment, which is easy to calculate
9 x ~300 for tft screens.
But in the project they are using 4 pci videocards, now most mini-atx
computers are made with 3 pci`s slots and 1 AGP.
If possible this would make it quite cheap, because these machines are
available for around ~200 euro having onboard network.
Now i`m still wondering if the machines use a hard drive or are using a
stream.
So questions are basicly:
- Hard drive requirements or streaming?
- Needed Memory in the machines?
- Combination of PCI/AGP ?
- Minimum memory req. of the video cards?
Greetings and thank in advance,
