[gst-devel] plugins release for 0.8

Hi everyone,

I want to make a gst-plugins release for 0.8 soon.

There's one thing I'd like to be resolved; videoscale in 0.8.10 was
pretty broken after the move to liboil.  It still is significantly
slower than the previous one was.

It'd be great if that got fixed.  If there's no time to fix it, I would
prefer to revert to the pre-liboil version in 0.8  In reality, all work
on videoscale+liboil can be done in 0.9 anyway, so there's no reason to
have it in 0.8 if it's not going to get fixed.

What do people think ?
