[gst-devel] Some Info needed on the handling of the PTS and DTS timestamps in a decoder

hi everbody...
i would like to know how the PTS and DTS values are used in a decoder or 
a sink element.
also i would like to know the significance of having a queue element 
before a sink element in case of audio/video.
also plz give me some info about how av sync is done and related info.
