erm, what I mean is: unset all other limits everywhere (ie. set 
max-size-buffers to 0, max-size-time to 0, and max-size-bytes to 0), and then 
only set max-size-bytes on the two input queues before the decoders.

If that doesn't work, and a/v sync is off, then try gst-plugins from CVS - a 
lot of a/v sync related stuff has been fixed since 0.8.7.
