[gst-devel] filler events and 0.10

Hey all,

We still have no subtitle implementation, nor any element that handles
filler events. We freeze API today for good, barring emergencies before
5 december. Because we probably shouldn't add API that we don't know how
to use, I'm going to remove filler events from the API. If, when people
start to work on subtitles, they decide they need filler events, we can
see about putting them back in.

I know this make some people uneasy, but really there's no reason to be
concerned -- _we really can add them later_. Really. So let's focus on
the bugs we know [0] rather than the ones we don't :-)
