Personally I feel that the choice of wether cdparanoiasrc or cdiocddasrc
should have top rank should be up to the people working on 
applications using it. Which currently mostly means Tim (gnome-cd) and
Ross (Sound Juicer). Afaikt both of them prefer cdiocddasrc and I assume
since they are closest to the issues with audio cdplayback they should
set the rank to suit their preferences.
