[gst-devel] Releasing stuff!

I find it depressing that the last news on the GStreamer website is
releases of Core and Base from the middle of September, and that the
poor FFmpeg module hasn't had a release since MARCH!

So, in the interests of getting all the very very many improvements out
into the wider community, I'd like to release every module in the near
future.

I'm proposing that we have a feature freeze for all modules to start
Monday evening, at around 6pm UTC. No new features, only bug fixes to be
applied, and I'll start by releasing base and core on Friday, followed
by the other modules. 

Because this is short notice, I may accept small new feature commits
after Monday, if given a filed bug suitably early, with patch and tests.
You need to make sure to poke me on IRC or the mailing list to ensure I
see any such bugs.

If anyone has a problem with this plan, raise your hand.... now!
