[gst-devel] gst-plugins can't find GStreamer

Are you sure that you don't have another copy of gstreamer in /usr or  
elsewhere? If your one and only gstreamer sits in /usr/local that you  
should not need the GST_PLUGIN_PATH. What does 'locate  
gst-launch-0.10' say?

I have stuff like that in /etc/bash.bashrc, but then I am constantly  
mixing up the proper location for that from time to time.
