[gst-devel] TagSetter in Python Bindings

Hi List!

I am trying to get a small python project done where it is important to set tags in ogg files. In the #gstreamer channel I got the hint that the oggmux element implements TagSetter, but I just can't figure out how to access this interface in the python gst bindings. Maybe somebody can point me there.

The second question may be a bit off-topic here, but perhaps there are people who have already done some work in that area. I want to store geographical information (longitude, latitude, altitude) in the ogg files. Is there a common way to do this as there is for exif or should I just create my own format and document it properly (which I actually dislike in terms of interoperability with other applications)?
