[gst-devel] [Fwd: FFmpeg on win32]

OABuild comes with a stripped-down version of FFMpeg in order to make it
compatible with MSVC++, and so it misses lots of useful codecs.

But I was able compile the code of FFMpeg pulled a few days ago from SVN
using mingw and msys. However, the version of gcc that comes with mingw by
default needs to be replaced by gcc 4.2.4 available here:
http://www.tdragon.net/recentgcc

That was pretty much the only trick I had to use, then the compilation
process went smoothly with the following configure parameters:
configure --enable-shared --disable-static --enable-memalign-hack
--enable-w32threads
