If the vbr property is set to 4 (so vbr is on), does setting the bitrate property have any effect? It seems to me that it should not because the bitrate property is related to cbr mode. Also, is it true that the quality property applies only to cbr mode and the vbr-quality property applies to vbr mode? -- Jeffrey Barish
