do you have someone to help you with the subtitles issue in GStreamer ?

I am working for an european project (http://www.ict-ccast.eu/) that
will need subtitle support.
Since I am also pushing GStreamer as a principal streaming engine in
the project, I would like to contribute to the subtitles task as
announced in
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/tasks/gstreamer.html

Please let me know if u still need help on that and what is required.

I would be interested in some kind of plug-in to blend some text as
subtitles on a video.
