[gst-devel] Mono file

Hi,
I was able install the gstreamer on Davinci Borad
And
by using gst-launch i was able hear stereo files

./gst-lauch -0.10 filesrc locatio=test.mp3 ! mad ! audioconvert ! osssink



But when i given input a " mono " file its not working, means no sound

why its so?
can any body help me ?
