hello,

can someone please give me a hint, how to deal with the following problem:

I want to store a live stream (captured from a webcam) in multiple files. E.g. the first 5 sec in file1.avi, the next 5 seconds in file2.avi, and so on ...

I image to process the continously stream into single frames, collect these frames and create a video out of this set of frames. I plan to do it with the next sets of frame equal.

Is this possible? Are there other methods to do this?
