[gst-devel] Can I build gstreamer on cygwin ?

[Kulecz, Walter (JSC-SK)[WYLE INTEG. SCI. & ENG.]]

It was easy enough to download and install, but how do you actually do anything with it?

When I ran gst-inspect-0.10.exe I got a really long sequence of error dialog popups
about procedure entry points not located in DLL WS2_32.dll

Looks like a total waste of time.

I once tried to make a Cygwin build but I did not succeed :)

You may be interested in the GStreamer Winbuilds.
These builds are based on MinGW/MSYS.
