[gst-devel] Implementing vdpau in gstreamer

Hi guys

I saw on your website you were looking for a student to write a set of
gstreamer elements (correct terminology?) to allow decoding via vdpau.
I'd love to have a crack at implementing this for a google summer of
code project if it's still going?

I saw on the bug report
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=561225) that someone had
already implemented some parts of it, however, nobody has commented on
the bug report for a fair few months so I'm assuming development has
stalled.

Is a gsoc project on this a possibility?
