DVR/capture applications

I'm interested to find any GStreamer-based open source DVR or video capture
applications that might exist, particularly any that might have a GUI, be
implemented in Python, and use the GstTuner interface. I'm thinking
something along the lines of commercial products like IO Industries' Streams
5 [1] and Norpix's StreamPix [2]. Links and/or code are appreciated.
