Segmentation fault while loading libgstffmpeg.so

Hi all,
    I am developing an application which uses gstreamer. Playback is
implemented using playbin2. While playing a file I get the following error
message. However when I try playing the file with totem or commandline
gst-launch playbin2, it plays fine. Could anyone please help me in resolving
the error.

ERROR: Caught a segmentation fault while loading plugin file:
/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstffmpeg.so

Please either:
- remove it and restart.
- run with --gst-disable-segtrap and debug
