Failure after upgrade

I can run the attached code on Ubuntu natty but when I upgraded to 
oneiric I get the following error :

python: symbol lookup error: 
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gst-0.10/gst/_gst.so: undefined symbol: 
gst_date_time_get_type

I think natty is running gst 10.28 and oneiric 10.35. Both run python 2.7

Any ideas?
